I am currently a student at Ohio Wesleyan University, however my hometown is Boulder, Colorado. I have a passion for rock climbing and photography, and lucky for me, the two go hand in hand quite frequently. I am lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful places on earth to pursue both my interests in climbing and taking pictures. I began climbing four years ago when a good friend took me to the cliffs just outside my home in Boulder, and soon after I realized that climbing was taking me to some of the most remote and beautiful sites I had ever visited. I purchased my first camera when I was a freshman in college, and began snapping photos everywhere I went. I enjoy the challenge of nature photography, especially taking wildlife and bird photos. Nature is my passion, and through my photography I hope to share this passion with the world.

Hello,

The whole town of Nederland will be alive with activities, contests, a parade, races, etc this weekend of March 5th, 6th and 7th for the Frozen Dead Guy Days Festival.

We will have expanded hours on Saturday from 9am-?

Please stop in and check out the new art by 12 different local artists.

Have a great weekend :)

A R T I S T’ S S T A T E M E N T

If what a tree or bush does is lost on you,

You are surely lost.

Stand still.

The forest know

Where you are.

You must let it find you.

“Higher” -David Waggonner

I exclaim

As I reach tree line

where earth meets sky.

The wind blows strongly

Unobstructed

Except for the bristlecone pines,

the highest and longest living things on earth.

Their roots reaching back thousands of years

Back when the Pyramids and Stonehenge

came into being.

2600 BC

Their branches spiral upward balancing

in the ever changing wind

I breathe it all in.

Looking out on this majestic vista,

The real becomes Surreal.

The Surreal, Ethereal.

I sense the Solidity

And the Fluidity.

Nothing remains the same.

The winds bring change.

I immortalize this moment

This Now in paint.

Holding steadfast to the truth

Honestly

I open my heart

And listen to the trees

Painting

To Feed hungry souls.

Stand still. Listen.
